Prophecy Delayed But Not Denied – {Part 2}

Many of you have been waiting for something in particular to transpire for several years now and you are getting discouraged because it seems as if certain things that have been delayed in your life will never happen. Some of you have even described your situation as “The Waiting Game”. You may be waiting for a prophetic word that has been given to you to come to pass. Several of you know that you have been called to a particular ministry but it seems as if you are in a wilderness or a winter season spiritually and this may very well be the case. Although everything in your life looks dead and the heavens seem as brass this is the time to press in because springtime is right around the corner. The important thing is to stay in the season that The Lord has you in. Delay is not always denial in most cases.

Habakkuk 2 : 2 – 4
The Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.

There may be several reasons why certain things have not yet come to pass. One reason is that God has a time and a season for everything according to Ecclesiastes 3:1. Don’t get weary in well doing and don’t allow discouragement to fatigue or derail you from Jesus plan. He will surely bring you in to whatever it is that He has promised you as you stay steadfast. Simply allow Him to lead you and guide you so that you will be ready for what He has for you in this Spring season.

Another reason why Jesus plans have been delayed could be that you have yet to fulfill the last thing that He has directed you to do. Sometimes we have to finish the process that is needed for transition to occur which requires obedience as well as patience. You will go from Glory to Glory as you allow the Holy Spirit to take you through deeper levels of purification and sanctification.

Kris Valotton once said:
The greater the destination, the longer the gestation. Adversity is the mother of invention. The journey is as important as the destination. Sometimes adversity is what leads us into a new purpose and destiny. Sometimes we get frustrated with the process. You cant lose comfort or courage in the process. Once you get someplace you don’t get to stay there so long before you get to another destination. Sometimes when the journey seems long or un purposeful you have to just keep your vision. It is vision that keeps our pain a purpose. We cant lose sight for the purpose.

Ecclesiastes 3: 11
He has made everything beautiful in its time.

One Response to “Prophecy Delayed But Not Denied – {Part 2}”

  1. You quote from the prophet Habakkuk about the time of the end happening because of some person that was deliberately created to make the Nations into heaps……

    Have you never considered that the Beast who Habakkuk 2:1-12 is talking about has decided for himself to REFUSE TO DO THE WORKS OF EVIL and so thus avoid prophecy coming to pass?

    Can the Living God commanded the Son of Satan to obey prophecy and so do it?

    If I was the the Little Horn,then I would refuse to do prophecy in direct protest against God Almighty for making me a victim of dead wood. And also because I hate evil.
